Product Review: Love to Dream Swaddle
This post is not sponsored and the opinions are ones I am sharing because I feel so strongly about the benefits of this swaddle.
As I mentioned in my last post I have become a huge fan of the Love to Dream Swaddle. I have used it exclusively with three out of my four kids and will never buy another one. I love this swaddle for the easy to use design, the arm placement that allows for self soothing and the ability to grow with baby.
The first swaddles I had my daughter would get her arms out of all the time and then startle herself and wake up. With the Love to Dream Swaddle there’s zipper and a snug neck enclosure to make sure baby stays put in the swaddle. The worst thing is when you finally get baby to sleep and then they move their arms out and startle themselves awake to start the process over.
The Love to Dream Swaddle has the baby’s arms up by the sides of their face. With this placement my kids have been able to catch their pacifiers and get them back in their mouths all by themselves. I’ve also seen my kids suck on their fists that are placed in the arm compartments of the swaddle. This ability to begin learning self soothing skills from an early age while still in the swaddle have saved us from many sleepless nights.
Lastly, I truly love how you can transition this swaddle through many different stages. We’ve always bought a small stage one swaddle and then once it was time to move into a medium we have transition to a stage two swaddle. In the stage one swaddle the arm compartments are sewed in with the other fabric and not removable but when you transition to a stage two both arm compartments are removable with a zipper. This has allowed us to transition our kids to sleeping in a sleep sack at their own pace. We usually begin with just having one arm out and then both which has seemed to help.
We truly love these swaddles and would recommend them to any parent looking for a high quality swaddle.
